Introducing: Entertainment GOES

At the end of October a burst of creative energy hit me after I started reading and committing to doing the work from the book, “The Artists Way.” I sat down to write a story about two girls, and I drew inspiration from the strengths I see in Gracie as an actress. I had no idea what the story would be about, the emotional arcs, and the high stakes, etc., but when I began writing, it poured from my heart in about an hour.

I thought it was a beautiful story and dreamed of seeing those characters come to life on stage or in a film. I reached out to an award-winning screenwriter whose post ironically appeared on FB the week I wrote my story (synchronicity). She was offering her services to novice screenwriters and providing feedback. Soon, my story became immensely better! During the course of the next two months, I workshopped my screenplay with some very reputable film folks and received beautiful feedback and some challenging and frustrating feedback. During one very frustrating period, I gave up on my screenplay for two whole weeks while it collected sorrow and regret.

Determined to see my dream turned into a reality, I picked back up writing and finished my screenplay with an unexpected ending.

My newly formed company, Entertainment GOES, (Grace Opal Eugenia Silva) which I recently registered with the Secretary of State, combines an extremely talented, beautiful and diverse (nearly all female production crew) and we are set to announce auditions very soon for my first short-film.

I have sent my truest hearts desire out into the universe and wrote parts with visions of some specific actors in mind. I hope to see your name in my inbox. My new short film includes an original piece of music that some of the actors will be asked to sing on.

Stay tuned for the audition notice the week of January 4-9. I will be posting it on Backstage and in other local FB groups.

My dream is to continue writing stories and sharing my artist gifts and perspective with others.
